Action-movie director Rob Cohen, whose high-octane films include “The Fast and the Furious” and “XXX,” has offered up his equestrian estate in Hidden Hills for $3.99 million.
The one-acre grounds hold a 4,874-square-foot Cape Cod-style house, a swimming pool and a two-stall barn.
The home, built in 1996, is fronted by mature landscaping and a circular driveway. A porch leads into wood-accented living spaces, including a chandelier-topped dining room and a spacious kitchen. A wet bar and floor-to-ceiling fireplace accent the living room, and the nearby great room features two glass walls that open to create an airy indoor-outdoor space.
The master suite, complete with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace, sits on the first floor and has French doors that open directly to the backyard. Four additional bedrooms and a gym complete the floor plan.
Cohen bought the property in 2015 for $3.26 million, records show. He owns other property in the San Fernando Valley.
Dana Olmes and Jeffery Biebuyck of Compass are the listing agents.
Cohen, 68, has split time as a director, producer and screenwriter during his four decades in the industry. His other directing credits include “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” (2008) and “The Boy Next Door” (2015).
“The Hurricane Heist,” a film Cohen co-wrote and directed, is set to premier later this year.
